I was sorting out the photos and putting them into one album this morning when I realised the number of photos taken on Day 8 alone – 233.
So this post is going to be a photo dump, thank you very much.
Running into the farm!
But first things first.. breakfast!
The big one had a strawberry milkshake..
While the little one had some crackers and pretty much entertained herself and others.
This was before she stood up on the high chair to wave to a fellow baby at the next table. 🤨
Boy, I’ve lost count of the number of times she stood up in high chairs and the number of times I had to eat with one hand, always on high alert to catch her.
As usual, it wasn’t easy trying to take photos.
But since we were all matchy matchy that day, I had to try.
Hmm ok, nevermind.
The weather was lovely.
Clarissa was a little reserved at first.
But she warmed up after running around a little.
(Rare photos of me, because I shoved the phone into the hubs’ hands again and asked him to take photos for me. 😂)
And soon she was on her own, touching and feeding the goats.
Someone woke up from her nap and got a photo op with the sheep. 😆
I couldn’t bring myself to touch it. 😂
The hubs called me a scardy cat, but hey at least I gave birth to 2 kids ok. 🤓
She tried to feed the sheep but it was picky!
Didn’t want the hay.
One on one time with the hamsters (or are these guinea pigs). 🤭
I wanted a picture of the rooster with the rooster.
And then we drove for over an hour to..
The girls slept most parts of the way so it was a nice ride.
Watching the chocolate assembly line.
Though this was what she was most interested in.
Huge serving for one scoop each!
While the little one was only interested in her biscuit.
We offered her a tiny bit of ice-cream but she refused to take it!
We ended up dabbing a little bit on her lips and she was playfully rejecting her sister’s advances.
Ice-cream face number 1.
Ice-cream face number 2.
Although she technically didn’t have any.
The nicest part of the visit to me was the view outside.
These are all my favourite photos!
I was telling the hubs it’d be hard to take a bad photo over here. The scenery and the colors are so nice!
This one always makes me laugh when I look at it.
Here’s the close-up:
This was totally candid.
She was so happy running up and down and across the grass.
Unbridled joy at its best.
I could do this all day. 😍🤩
I love taking photos of the girls, because their joy is so unconstrained and written so freely, all over their faces.
Yet so is their pain. 😅
Shortly after this set of photos, Clarissa was running towards her Daddy and Allie when she fell sprawling onto the ground and scraped her knee.
It didn’t look very bad to me, but she stood there and wailed for a good five minutes.
So we stopped our walk and went back to the cafe.
No photos of me/myself so I snuck in a selfie with the beautiful landscape. 😂🤣
We then did the often undocumented stuff like changing diapers and feeding the baby and getting the big girl to pee before driving for another hour to the..
I think our supermarket runs are the highlights of the trip for the girls, especially Allie. 😆😆
More shopping trolley photos while waiting for our take-out dinner.
Done with dinner! 🐒
