I’ve been feeling so tired the past week I couldn’t even tap into WordPress.

In between waking up at 3am and sitting in excruciating meetings, I’ve had many fleeting thoughts and many funny and not-so funny moments.

I guess I’ll just let (what’s in) my phone decide where to start.

Opening ceremony for the Mini-cooper last Sunday.

At first she could only walk backwards, but soon she was zooming around and pulling things off.

All the table corner cushions within her reach have been either torn apart or come off completely.

I also caught her trying to drive Jiejie’s truck by tipping the walker to almost a 45-degree angle.

She also tried to pull Jiejie’s scooter, empty the shopping trolley, and pull the power plugs and cables and whatnots. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ญ

I guess both girls are cheeky in their own ways.

But Clarissa has an obviously cheeky glint in her eyes and does it the way you expect her to, while Allie looks sooooo innocent and honest while doing the most outrageous things her Jiejie wouldn’t even touch.

We’ve now learned to confine her mini-cooper in smaller space so as to restrict the number of naughty tricks she can pull off.

Work-from-home Thursday.

My dad was here around 5pm and so Allie was sitting and playing with him while I picked Clarissa up from the bus.

I continued working while they played, and then it was dinner time for the girls and Allie kept turning back to look for her Wai-gong while eating lol.

Maybe scared he went home already? ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚

So after dinner she happily went back to Wai-gong again.

(And Jiejie wanted me to take photos of them eating grapes. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†)

Somehow I ended the day with a massive throbbing headache. Luckily the hubs was back in time to take over!

Work-from-home again Friday.

I was supposed to go to the office because there were more than 3 meetings.

I decide my work-from-home day based on the number and duration of meetings.

But Clarissa’s school was closed on Friday, her Ah-ah wasn’t free to come over, and she didn’t want to go to her Wai-po’s place on her own.

I didn’t want the helper to go crazy taking care of two girls for the entire day, although Clarissa came up with a brilliant idea. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚

She told her Yaya that we could send Allie to Wai-po’s place while she stayed at home with Yaya. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

“Then who would make Allie sleep?” Our helper asked.

“Wai-po lor! Wai-po can one,” Clarissa said very confidently.

Lol next time ok. Next time we try.

And so the morning started with Allie staring, from the playpen, at Clarissa playing.

Something like this:

As always.

So Clarissa asked me to put Allie in the mini-cooper instead.

I was like, wow you want to play with Meimei?

And she said, “Yes! If not Meimei so bored and I’m sooooooo bored because no one is playing with me!”

So yep, they shared toys and played together.. for less than 10 minutes.

“Mummy, I don’t want to play with Allie anymore! Because she threw all my toys onto the floor!” Declared an indignant Jiejie.

Meimei took her nap in the room while Jiejie played on her own and stuck stickers all over her face (and mine) before she said she would sit down beside me to do some work.

It was nice and quiet, until I took a call with a colleague, while Clarissa watched and decided to join in the conversation.

“Mummy, who are you talking to?”

“What are you talking about?”

“Can you tell your colleague I’m here?”

Luckily it was a casual chitchat and my colleague happily said hello to her via me.

And then she was done, and went off again.

This time she came back with a cup of “water” and said, “Mummy, this is for you to drink after you finish your work, when you are thirsty! Remember to drink ok?”

I had a call at 11am, and informed Clarissa that I had to go into a meeting. In fact I reminded her at least 3 times and each time she said ok! She’d be ok.

So at 11am I went into my room to take the call because 1) Meimei was up and having her lunch and 2) It was a call with one of the bosses and I had to speak.

When I finished the call, 30 minutes later, this girl was sitting on the sofa, weeping.

In fact she wailed and hugged me for a long time after I came out to sit with her.

According to the helper she started crying once I was in the room, while Meimei ate her lunch and chuckled non-stop at her Jiejie. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚

I brought Jiejie out to buy lunch and on our way back I asked her, “Why did you cry?”

She looked embarrassed and said, “Because.. because my leg pain.”

We had lunch and showered before it was time for her nap.

“Can you come inside the room to work? I will be quiet,” She suggested.

I had a call at 130pm so I was hesitant.

Made her promise to be quiet and to sleep properly before I joined her.

She kept to her promise and fell asleep.

I went out of the room to continue my calls.

And then my dad came and Meimei was up from her second nap of the day.

So I went back to my room for the final call for the day.

This girl was up and said she’d wait for me to finish the call.

But she got cheeky and started mimicking everything I said, right after I said it.

Omg I had to mute the phone immediately after I said something. ๐Ÿ˜“

Oops I’m sorry to hear that, Mummy.

This girl too was doing something naughty while having her dinner?!

She’s been very lazy with chewing her food (Hello, but you have six teeth?) and would either spit it out immediately or keep it in her mouth but dig it out with her fingers.. and then proceed to smear the food all over her hair and face.

Our helper called her out for doing that and asked her to stop.

So she placed her hand on her mouth.. before sneaking her fingers into her mouth to dig the food out!

Needless to say, my Friday ended with a headache again. ๐Ÿ˜ช๐Ÿ˜ช

Haircut Saturday.

And a 630am start on Sunday.

No wait, actually it started at 2am (screaming baby), and then 530am (babbling baby) and then 630am (two talking babies).

She couldn’t reach the toys from where she stood (on the mattress) so she walked to the other side to get it.

Ok peeps, have fun!
