The plan: Quick lunch, nap, basketball match.
I fed Allie before leaving for lunch so she was just in the baby chair looking around and staring at fellow diners.
The Grandpa/Uncle sitting beside her got a bit embarrassed/shy from her staring. 😅😂
The way she placed her hand on Daddy’s. 😊😆
Quick run to Watson’s to get my toner (20% off store-wide!) and quick run to NTUC to buy pork muscle for Allie’s porridge.
Clarissa had a great time trying out ice-cream and milk sweets samples! Lol.
We didn’t buy. 😅🙊
There was so much sampling activity going on! Maggie mee, Korean melon, coffee, sweets, ice cream.. the hubs said we could have a full lunch in NTUC. 😂
Got home on time for the girls to nap!
Clarissa and I went to support the hubs’ basketball match – Inter-bank league or something like that. 🤔
The hubs took part in a 3-point shoot-out challenge.
And got into the next round!
Briefing for the next round.
Little Miss Photographer at work.
Reviewing her photos. 😊
She got so excited by the matches she started pretending that her minion toy was a basketball, and kept asking me to play catch with her. 😂
Warm-up with Daddy.
And then the real match started.
Erm, your house ah? 😂
Ignore my huge face but here’s a little fangirl cheering for her Daddy’s “Red team”.
We left after the first quarter because it was already past 630pm and the girl needed her dinner.
As usual she said lots of funny stuff!
We went to the toilet and somehow there were urinals inside.
It was her first time seeing urinals so she asked me what they were.
“Oh, it’s for boys to pee,” I explained.
Naturally she asked why.
“Why boys stand up to pee and girls sit down huh? In my school, all the boys and girls sit down to pee eh,” she wondered aloud.
“Hmm when boys are older, they will stand up to pee?” It was getting difficult to explain lol.
“Is it because boys not tired but girls tired?” She answered her own question with another question.
We took a cab to Novena Square for dinner.
Waited some time for the cab to come, but she was on her best behavior.
When she got into the cab, she greeted the driver, “Hello, Taxi Uncle!” 😅
When we arrived at our destination, she said to the uncle cheerily as she alighted the cab, “Thank you Uncle for driving us here!”
She picked the dinner place.
So we were at fish and co, and she was on a roll.
I asked the serving manager for a table for two and she asked him directly, “Can I have a baby chair please?”
Throughout the dinner she was attracting attention from the waiting staff.
Once, she said “Excuse me excuse me!” for fun / to no one in particular, and one of the waiters really came over to ask if we needed anything. 😳
She kept drinking the juice when the food came so I reminded her to eat.
She said, “Mummy, this is AB pattern! I drink then I eat, then I drink, then I eat. Orange juice, fish, orange juice, fish! AB pattern!”
Yah you pattern more than badminton. 😂
She finished most of the fish and when a waitress came over to check if we’d like the ice-cream to be served, she said to the waitress, “Hello! Where is my dessert please?” 😅😂
I said it wasn’t time yet because she hadn’t finished her food and the waitress agreed with me and asked her to finish her food first.
So she sped up by grabbing all the fries in one hand.
Second treat of the day.
I had to eat more than half of it, and made her finish her entire bottle of water after it.
It was a nice impromptu dinner date!
Fooling around while waiting for Daddy to pick us up.
They lost the match and he came home with a sore back. 🙊🙊
But this girl was so happy?
When I asked her what the happiest thing she did today was, she said:
“Watching Daddy play basketball!”
Aww I thought she would say “eating ice-cream”. 😅😂
Before she fell asleep, I said to her, “Sweet dreams!”
She smiled and said to me, “I think I’m going to dream of Mummy!”
