πŸ‘§: Come, let Mummy tie your hair.

πŸ‘Ά: No, I want to do lion hair today.

*I should add that she said this in a very calm manner, not defiantly or anything like that.
It was like she genuinely wanted to go to school in her bed hair.

Two nights ago.

The moment I stepped into the house, she ran over to me, pinching her cheeks.

πŸ‘Ά: Mummy! Today Ah-gong pinched me!

πŸ‘§: Oh dear did he?

πŸ‘Ά: It's very painful!

πŸ‘§: Did you tell Ah-gong it's painful?

πŸ‘Ά: No! I just wah wah wah (pretends to cry).

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Last night.

I think Ah-gong tried to redeem himself by buying biscuits for her.

πŸ‘Ά: Mummy! Today Ah-gong bought biscuits! I eat the biscuit!

πŸ‘§: Wow is it nice!

πŸ‘Ά: Yes, it's nice.

πŸ‘§: Did you say thank you?

πŸ‘Ά: Yes, I said thank you Ah-gong!

πŸ‘§: That's good!

πŸ‘Ά: And then I call him, Ah-dang ah-dang ah-dang! (Grins cheekily)

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
*****

πŸ‘Ά: Today Ah-gong wants to carry me!

πŸ‘§: That's nice! Did you let Ah-gong carry you?

πŸ‘Ά: No! I run away to Yaya!

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Looks like she cannot be easily bribed with biscuits?

Disclaimer: I usually put my phone away when having dinner.

But last night I was texting the hubs, giving him an update about how she's pooped.

The little one has just finished her dinner and was walking around the dining table.

πŸ‘Ά: Mummy, you cannot use the phone when eating dinner!

πŸ‘§: Oh, I'm sorry. I was sending Daddy a message.

πŸ‘Ά: (Takes my phone and tucks it in a corner of the table) Come, I put here first. You cannot use the phone first huh.

Back story: We found out one evening that Clarissa was standing in the kitchen while our helper was cooking.

Both of them know the rules, that she cannot enter the kitchen when the stove is on, and the safety gate needs to be closed.

I was sure our helper knew better so it must have been the little one who insisted.

The biggest tell-tale sign was her little chair (the one she drags around to sit beside me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) in the kitchen.

So instead of confronting our helper, I decided to talk to the little boss in front of her.

I basically told her how dangerous it is to be in the kitchen when the stove is on, and the fire is hot, etc etc.
And that if she really wanted to watch Yaya cook, she could stand at the gate outside the kitchen.

So last night, our helper went into the kitchen to make dinner while I was in the living room with the little one.

πŸ‘Ά: Yaya cooking! No one, NO ONE can go into the kitchen ok! The fire is dangerous!

πŸ‘§: Yes, yes cannot go it's dangerous.

πŸ‘Ά: Must close the gate! (Runs to the safety gate and closes it) Mummy, you see! I can see Yaya from here! Don't need to go inside!

Have been coughing like crazy this entire week, despite having seen the doctor again on Tuesday night.

I have kept up with heading to the office everyday, because the cough's manageable during the day but gets more and more uncontrollable at night.

I have been waking up in the middle of the night, every night, because of the cough. And the hubs have gone outside to sleep on the couch once I wake up from my coughing fits, so that I could try to go back to sleep.

As a result, poor rest for the both of us.

My mum called me last night and heard that I was still coughing.

So this morning she called us at 645am in a bid to catch us before we left for work.

But I'm working from home today and so she delivered this to me instead:

ηˆ±εΏƒη‡•ηͺ! 😁

Wah the last time I had bird's nest was when I was pregnant with Clarissa.

My mum said it's to "ζΆ¦θ‚Ί". So after our call last night she immediately went to buy and then cooked it overnight, because she wanted me to have it first thing in the morning. 😒

Nowadays she insists on picking up the phone whenever it rings.

But she doesn't always press the right buttons or answer the call, so it ends up being disconnected.

So the phone rang just now, she rang to pick it up but it was disconnected.

Later on I found a missed call from my mom on my mobile phone.
I went to the living room to pick up the house phone to call her back but the little one stopped me.

πŸ‘Ά: No, cannot!

πŸ‘§: Why not? I need to call Wai-po back.

πŸ‘Ά: I need to call my boyfriend. (Hugs the phone to her chest tightly)

πŸ‘§: Ok, fine. I'll use my phone to call.

πŸ‘Ά: (Changes her mind and runs to me to offer the phone) Ok Mummy, you call Wai-po first. After that, then i call my boyfriend.

(πŸ‘§ faints.)

After the phone call with my mom.

πŸ‘§: Who is your boyfriend?

πŸ‘Ά: K!

(Erm K is her best friend in school, and she's a girl. πŸ˜‚)

πŸ‘§: K is a girl. She cannot be a "boy" friend.

πŸ‘Ά: No! I'm a boyfriend!

Hmm I don't think she really understands what a boyfriend is.

She pooped after coming back from school so our helper washed her up.

She ran to me in her towel.

πŸ‘Ά: Mummy~ I'm not wearing anything~!

She insisted that I change her so I did, and I realised she only got her bum washed but didn't take a shower.

πŸ‘§: Why didn't you take a shower?

πŸ‘Ά: Cause it's not time yet!

πŸ‘§: Why is it not time yet?

πŸ‘Ά: Cause it's morning!

πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Hahaha I think she meant to say it's still bright/day time. She usually showers at night.

Celebrated my mom's birthday and father's day tonight!

Took a series of photos which all looked the same, except for Clarissa's expressions. πŸ˜‚

Spot the difference?

Hahahaha this was exactly how her expressions progressed from elegant smile to θ§η‰™δΈθ§ηœΌ. πŸ˜„

She had a lot of fun and we had a good dinner! 😁

Always awesome to have family time like this!
