Look at this cute chick! π
I think the task was to look for all the food and put them into the basket.
The other activity this week was to pretend to be animals.
I think she was supposed to be a lion.
Not scary one, this lion.
Looks like she's had a good week in school! π

This happened over the weekend.
We were walking over to my friend's place and the little boss wanted me to carry her.
I was holding on to my wallet and phone so I said to her, "Mama has to hold these, can you walk on your own?"
She looked at me, and then looked at her Daddy.
She said to me:
Mama, give the phone to Baba!
Her exact words, all the "the" and "to" included, I kid you not.
We were so surprised I immediately surrendered my phone to the hubs and the hubs immediately took whatever I was holding in my hand. π
"Mama careyee," She said again.
And so the little boss got what she wanted. π
It's Friday, so we wanted to let our little boss co-sleep with us tonight.
I must have asked her at least 5 times, in different ways.
π§: Clarissa, where do you want to sleep tonight?
πΆ: (Points in the direction of her room) There.
π§: Clarissa, do you want to sleep with mama tonight?
πΆ: (Smiles) Don't want.
In her room, waiting for milk –
π§: Clarissa, where do you want to sleep tonight?
πΆ: (Points at her pillow) Here.
π§: So you don't want to sleep with mama, yes or no?
πΆ: (Smiles)
Yes, don't want.
πππ
I love that she knows what I'm asking for, and how clear her response is.
She's fast asleep after finishing her milk.
And I'm Dayre-ing in the bright now because my baby doesn't want to sleep with her mama. π
