No time for breakfast this morning so I asked for some cookies.
Done with the 2-day offsite and finally sitting down to wait for a cab.
I actually wanted to write about the drop-off!
For 2 days in a row now, Clarissa has stopped saying "怕怕".
Instead, she starts by looking very worried as the car turns into the carpark.
"Ding? Ding!" She'd say, reaching out for her water bottle.
(So I guess "ding" refers to "drink". 😅)
She'd take a sip of water and then hold on to the bottle, refusing to let it go.
She starts whining/crying at the entrance where teachers on duty would do the health check.
"Hi! Hi!" She'd start waving to any familiar face (of the teachers) and reach out for them (still holding on to her water bottle). She then reaches for the hand sanitizer, still whining.
She stops whining once a teacher comes to take her into the classroom.
This morning we even had to call out to her to say goodbye, because she was simply walking in without looking back lol.
I guess this is pretty good progress!
She has a class photo shoot today and we can't wait to see how the photos would turn out!
I'm not sure how they are going to make 10 toddlers smile and look at the camera at the same time. 😅
