13:28 and the little boss is sleeping on our bed.
We had a pretty late start today at 9am, but a long morning that started with breakfast and a drive down to the Philippines Embassy to let our helper collect her passport.
And then, we drove to Clarissa's pediatrician for her scheduled vaccination for pneumonia and chicken pox.
Waited for some time before we got to see the doctor.
She fell asleep on our way back, and continued sleeping even after I carried her out from her car seat! 😮
Definitely a first!
She always wakes up the moment we take her out of the car seat, and doesn't go back to sleep after that.
And it was supposed to be meal time for her. But she continued sleeping even after I put her on our bed.
Decided to just let her sleep.
I need to start packing my luggage though.. flying out tonight. 😩
Clarissa's now 10.5kg, and 78cm tall!
She continues to be on the 50th-75th percentile for her weight and height, and her head circumference continues to be at 98th percentile. 😅
Development is "very good, in fact quite advanced", according to the pediatrician, because she knows all her body parts, knows how to point at things she wants, and can say two-syllabus words.
The hubs' #oldwongsellsmelon moment:
So she's very smart right?
I laughed out loud so the pediatrician didn't have to answer his question, or rather, respond to his statement. 😅
All is good.
She cried a little due to the jabs, but stopped in less than a minute.
Hope she feels ok, otherwise I'd feel even worse about traveling for work.
Doesn't help that the hubs kept trying to guilt trip me, albeit jokingly. 😯😢
